TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT

PLEASE SIGN, RETAIN A COPY THIS TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCES AND SEND COPY TO THE COLLEGE

1) Entry Qualifications: It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that he/she meets the minimum entry requirements for the course on which he/she is enrolled and the documents tendered to the College are valid.

2) The Course:  It is the students’ responsibility to ensure that the course for which an application is made meets his/her requirements.

3) Initial Deposit:  All Students are required to make a deposit of 60% of the FULL course fee on or before an Acceptance letter and the Certificate of Unconditional Acceptance issued to you.  This deposit includes the NON-REFUNDABLRE enrolment fee of £350 and administration fee.

 4) Enrolment: Before the commencement of the course, you will be required to enrol at the College Administration Office and annually or bi annually thereafter depending on the duration of your programme. 

5) Enrolment Fee: A NON-REFUNDABLE fee of £350 is payable on enrolment which is deducted from the initial deposit of 60%.

 6) Attendance: It is Compulsory to meet and maintain the 100% attendance required for all students at the College. 

7) International students requiring visa extensions are specifically required by statute to attend College for at least 16 hours per week during term times and maintain 100% attendance at all times (Weekly, monthly and annually)

8) Legal: Enrolment on a course and payment of the initial deposit constitutes a binding agreement between the College and the student.

9) Change of Course Students’ should seek approval from Course Directors BEFORE changing courses at the College.  Changes MUST be promptly communicated to the College Administration Office; Failure to do so may result in your being entered for the wrong examinations.  NO additional
fee is payable for approved changes in so far as the cost of the course does NOT exceed the previous course.

10) Examinations: It is the student’s responsibility to register for and undertake any professional examinations necessary for each course.  The Course Director can be of assistance BUT is not obliged to enter students for professional examinations.  Students on courses examined by the College as [art of its various alliances and partnership with other Institutions are required to take examinations in accordance with the course regulations.

 11) Cheating and Plagiarism: Cheating includes such offences as bringing unauthorised aids into an examination room, plagiarism (passing off the work of others as your own without full acknowledgement), computer hacking, falsification of data and similar dishonest practices.  If cheating is found to have taken place, expulsion from the College could be considered in serious cases.

12) Student Conduct and Discipline: No student must behave in a manner that inhibits the learning of other students, causes loss of College property or damage to the person or property of other members of the College, intimidates, threatens, harasses other students, disrupts the proper activities of the College, or in any way acts detrimentally to the College's interests or reputation. If you do behave in such a way, you risk suspension or even expulsion from the College, in addition to any legal action taken by anyone adversely affected by what you have done.

13) Change of Address or Name: It is essential that you report any change of address to staff in our College Registry Services.   Similarly, if you

change your name it is essential that this is reported and official documentation is provided, otherwise College and Professional documentation
will be produced bearing an incorrect name

14) Withdrawals / Refund: If you want to withdraw from your course, consider consulting your course Director for advice first before making a decision.  If you still wish to proceed, you must inform the College Registry in writing.  Refund for payments to the College is permissible under the following

conditions:

If you are a Visa student:

a. If you have obtained a visa through the College, you are NOT eligible for any refund irrespective of the time you decide to withdraw.
b. If you have applied for a visa extension and decide to withdraw from the College BEFORE the outcome of the application, you are NOT eligible for any refund.
c. If the visa was unsuccessful due to reason(s) related to and acceptable by the College, that you are not considered to be a genuine or bona fide applicant (and this is substantiated at an appeal hearing) you are not eligible for a refund as we consider you to be a bogus applicant. In all other cases, an administrative charge of £350 applies.   

If you are a Non-Visa student:

a. If you have NOT commenced lectures, you may be eligible for a refund to the value of your FULL payments to date Less Administration charges of £350.
b. If you have commenced lectures, you may be eligible for a refund to the value of your FULL payments to date Less 15% Administration charges LESS the enrolment fee of £350.
NOTE: Once a student is refused entry clearance, you should apply for the refund within one month of the date of refusal. You submit the original refusal letter and a copy of the passport page bearing refusal seal to the College authority. The whole process of refund may take up to ten to twelve weeks after we received the formal claim.

15) Fire and Emergency Procedures: It is our duty to guide and inform you about fire and safety within the premises but it is your responsibility to co-operate within us regarding the Fire & Emergency procedures.

 16) Overseas students: International (Overseas) students are specifically required to understand and fully comply with all UK regulations and guidance on UK Borders Immigration Rules including clause (8) and (12).

17) Professional Examinations:  It is the student’s responsibility to enter for, pay for and ensure that external examination entries are promptly delivered to the Institute concerned.

18) Right to change course:  The College reserves the right to alter or change course without notice.  Affected students will be offered the option to transfer to other related courses at the College.  NO refund is permissible under this circumstance.

19) Non-Attendance Cost: If we have to send you correspondence due to your non-attendance for unacceptable or invalid reason (s), we reserve the right to charge to your account, an administrative fee of £10 per letter sent to your last known address. Necessary action will be considered against International students which could include informing the Home office of your persistent non-attendance.
